I am Yixuan Yan [˥˩ji˥ɕɥæn ˧˥jæn], a 2nd-year PhD student in Linguistics at UConn. Broadly I am interested in semantics/pragmantics as well as L1 acquisition in Mandarin. Currently I am working on the acquisition of Mandarin alternative questions (under the supervision of William Snyder and Diane C. Lillo-Martin) and counterfactual reasoning in Mandarin (under the supervision of Magdalena Kaufmann and Stefan Kaufmann). See more about my projects on Research
